From the walk way on the north west side of the bridge you can see remnants of a sunken boat from the late 1800's if the water is clear enough.

Watch what happens when a boat comes through. Doesn't happen all that often. If the driver behind starts honking, wave them around. If they don't want to wait to see if a boat comes, that's on them.
